All bills, resolutions, and orders shall have at least one author, and may have one or more sponsors.

Any member of the Association may author bills, resolutions, and orders. Any member of an Association legislative body may sponsor bills, resolutions, and orders. At least one member of an Association legislative body must sponsor or author each bill, resolution, or order.

The name of the author(s) and sponsor(s) of each bill, resolution, and order shall appear with the bill, resolution, or order.

In the case of a bill, resolution, or order drafted by a Committee, the Committee, or in their absence the Committee Chair, shall be responsible for designating the author(s) of the bill, resolution, or order.
