Rule of Order 18: Motion to Waste Time

A motion to waste time may be made by any member of an Association legislative body. It does not require a second, and takes precedence over any other motions being considered. When made, the Association legislative bodies must sit quietly for one minute. Reading and catching up on course work is permitted. There is no limit to the number of times a motion to waste time may be made by any given member.
